How to Present PowerPoint in Google Meet with Music Background and Microphone Audio Enabled (Step-by-step tutorial with images)

Google Meet was created with the intention of hosting large-scale video conferences that may be joined using a link or a code. Businesses and organizations, like Zoom, are its target population. You can start a video call and then share the URL or code with others or send an email invitation.

This time, we are going to create solutions regarding Google Meet's presentation feature with no sound.

How to present PowerPoint in Google Meet with Music Background and Microphone Audio Enabled

  1. Under the sounds icon in the taskbar, right-click and select Sounds

  2. The sound property windows appears. Select Recording

  3. Right click any where in the devices and select Show Disabled Devices

  4. A new device will appear labeled Stereo Mix with an arrow down symbol. This means the device is currently disabled

  5. Right-click the Stereo Mix and select Enable. This will make the device available for use.

  6. When Stereo Mix is enabled, right-click the Microphone device and select Properties

  7. Microphone Properties windows will appear. Select the Listen tab.

  8. Go to the checkbox with the label Listen to this device. Tick the box to mark as check

  9. Click Apply and OK to close the property window

  10. Now, let's configure Google Meet to use the newly configured device. Go to the Ellipsis button

  11. Click the Settings command. This will enable us to set our audio devices.

  12. Under the Audio Settings, select Stereo Mix as your microphone

  13. To adjust the volume of your microphone, right-click the sounds icon and select Open Volume mixer

  14. You can now increase or decrease the volume of your microphone depending on your needs during presentation.

  15. Congratulations! You can now present a video, PowerPoint presentation or even play a music background during your presentation while talking on the audience or participants in the meeting.

You can watch the entire step-by-step procedure in this video.
